Through it all, Paige and Lane had great friends by their side and continued to be drawn together by the peace they got from one another. There were still questions and doubts, disapproving parents, ex-fiances, family health concerns and potential job failure that really tested their ability to be together.
So far it might seem like Paige and Lane had an easy road with their relationship, but that was not the case. She does a fantastic job giving bits and pieces of the physical chemistry like the soft kisses and touches, the characters thoughts and emotional responses and at the end of the book it was just as passionate and sexy as books with detailed sex scenes. There was a little matchmaking going on behind the scenes that made sure they had to spend time together to start things off.Īs with Tracy's other stories, the intimate scenes were left up to the reader's imagination. It was Cole and Liza's wedding (from The Practice Proposal) that brought Paige and Lane to St. I really enjoyed how the romance built up between Paige and Lane because it was so true of their characters. There are some absolutely laugh-out-loud funny scenes in this book as well as some very sweet and tender "aww" moments. Paige is full of spirit and Lane was raised much more conservatively, and is rather "uptight" according to Paige. If Tracy modeled the resort in the book after one she stayed in, I definitely want to visit St. The setting was awesome because most of it took place in St. Sometimes in contemporary romance there is a lull here or there in the story, but not so with this one! I really had a hard time putting it down because there wasn't an easy stopping point - I had to keep reading to find out what happened next. The pacing of Tempted in the Tropics was perfect.

It was entertaining from start to finish with the perfect blend of romance, laughter, and passion. I so loved Tempted in the Tropics by Tracy March.
